Fashion High Tea 2016: 10 Best Dressed Celebrities

One of the most anticipated events on Nairobi’s fashion calendar – the fashion high tea took place last Saturday at Zen Garden. As with other previous events, the 6th edition of #FHT2016 was also geared towards supporting a charitable cause. All the proceeds from this year’s fashion high tea will go towards raising awareness about Down Syndrome and the facilitation of ‘My Ella Down Syndrome Resource Center”.

Over 30 designers including Mia Kora from London, Maisha concept from Hong Kong, Boutique Mahali from Kenya all showcased their wares in the fashion exhibitions. While 14 designers featured on the runway.

#FHT2016 attracted a number of influential men and women in Kenya including media personalities, fashion bloggers, photographers, businessmen and women.

Hats may have taken a back seat in this year’s Fashion high tea but fascinators still made an appearance. Spotted a couple of men and women in African print. From Suzie Wokabi’s Tulip Iro or Oleku Twist as they can it in Nigeria to SonisideUp’s monochrome look and Nancie Mwai’s very chic high neckline frock. Here is a list of my top 10 best-dressed celebrities
