It’s a hot Friday afternoon at about 1pm, when my friend and I walk into the newly refurbished Tin Roof Cafe at The Souk next to the hub in Karen. The road leading up to this intimate and quaint cafe is dusty, the sun won’t let us prosper and the noise from the cars honking is just too much. Their iced Nutella mocha has been calling my name ever since I spotted it on their Instagram page. We are welcomed by their occasional poem on their cafe blackboard and the first thing you notice once you are inside the cafe is that it’s a different world.
The Cafe gives off such an aura of tranquility. There’s so much to love about Tin Roof, from their delicious healthy fresh food being top of the list, an amazing salad bar, the inviting decor, freshly painted white walls, fresh flowers in metal buckets, colorful cushions, the book swap and I could go on and on. So when you need a little oasis of calm away from the hurly-burly of the city, then Tin Roof Cafe is your best bet.
I have reviewed Tin Roof Cafe before and therefore in this post I’m going to let these beautiful photos that were shot by my good friend Ian Njuguna, (check out his really cool insta HERE)) tell the story!!! Enjoy…
